"There are worse things to do...than to spend your time building a dream."
-Iggy Peck
In G&T this week, the children listened to the story Iggy Peck, Architect by Andrea Beaty. In the story, Iggy has one passion: BUILDING. His parents are proud of his fabulous creations, though they’re sometimes surprised by his choice of building materials.
Be like Iggy! Next week in G&T, children are going to build structures using common household materials or leftover scraps. Here is a list of some SUGGESTED materials. Most materials can be found in or around your home. Please do not purchase anything! Encourage your child to gather some materials in a large container, bin or box so that they can be ready to build during our next G&T session as well as other future classes.
